African American and Veteran-owned by Kenneth & Brenda McLeon, we are located in the Mount Vernon vicinity at 7700E Richmond Highway, which is next to the Home Depot. Skrimp Shack is a quality fast seafood-casual restaurant specializing in fried or grilled seafood items that are made fresh to order.
He has been married for over 40+ years and has 2 adult children and grandchildren. Kenneth retired from the Marine Corps, the Federal Government and Chief of Staff of Grace Church in Dumfries, VA after assisting in the building of their magnificent sanctuary. Serving, God, Country, and the community are the staples of my being. Serving and service to the community are the reasons we purchased the franchise. My wife and I decided to open a business that would serve the community and be a great place for people to enjoy a delicious meal at an affordable price, enjoy great music in a relaxed atmosphere. Every day, the staff strives to ensure that each customer who walks through our door receives a gracious smile, a hot scrumptious meal, and a great experience. To us - People matter!
